    Description


    Job Summary

    The Cash Management Director oversees the cash operations within the hospital, ensuring all departments handle cash appropriately. They are in charge of managing incoming patient payments, posting them accurately, and aligning them with the general ledger and patient financial services. Additionally, they handle incoming payments from government programs and partners like nursing homes and LPPF.
    Minimum Job Requirements:
    Work Experience:
    Five years of relevant work experience are necessary, specifically in financial operations, payment operations, or treasury operations roles that demand a keen eye for detail.
    Five years of supervisory/management experience are also required.
    License/Registrations/Certificate:
    Certified Public Accountant qualification is preferred.
    Education and Training:
    A Master's degree in a related field is a must.
    Skills:
    • Knowledgeable about patient financial accounting processes and procedures.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in using a calculator and standard keyboard, as well as in Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access applications.
    • Capable of developing and supervising associates' performance.
    • Able to promote a collaborative work environment.
    • Familiar with customer service standards and their consistent implementation.
    • Skilled in training associates in cash receipting principles and procedures, including cash reconciliation and balancing functions.
    • Knowledgeable about third party reimbursement processes and current insurance terminology.
    • Adept at managing a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced setting.
    • Capable of working with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
