    Description

    POSITION PURPOSE:

    Performs as receptionist and provides clerical support in the Corporate Administration Office.


    POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience:

    High School Graduate.
    Secretarial Training.
    Two (2) years experience with direct public.


    Licensure / Certification:

    Maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.


    Skills / Ability:

    Dictation skills, typing skills, computer skills, interpersonal training and skills. Must be able to type WPM. Bilingual required.


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (THIS IS A NON-EXEMPT POSITION)

    Acts as a receptionist; greets and directs visitors to proper area/individual.

    Assist in problem solving with clients.

    Acts as an interpreter.

    Receives and routes incoming calls to Administration and other departments.

    Receives, opens and routes incoming mail.

    Distributes outgoing mail.

    Makes copies and distributes appropriately.

    Scans information and distributes appropriately.

    Faxes information as requested.

    Distributes incoming faxes to proper area/individuals.


    Log incoming revenue in payment of visits for Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and reimbursements and payments, from funding agencies on a daily basis.

    Provide support to various Administrators.

    Compose routine correspondence; or select appropriate form letter reply.

    Type various activity reports, work orders, requisitions, personnel forms and similar documents, as requested.

    Type miscellaneous report, letter, flyers, policies and other documents, as requested.


    Prepares agendas, distribute agenda; attends meetings, takes and transcribes minutes of the meetings into proper format within five (5) working days of meeting.

    Distributes reports of proceedings.

    Assists with typing, gathering, duplicating and assembling materials to be covered at various meetings.

    Participates in Performance Improvement activities.

    Adheres to Confidentiality Policies and Procedures / HIPAA Regulations.

    Performs other duties as assigned
