Essential Functions of the Service Technician
:
The Service Technician is responsible for equipment installation, troubleshooting and repairs at customer facilities, domestically and internationally.
Other responsibilities include supporting customers remotely over the phone and computer, working in-house helping with testing, fabrication, and assembly of machines, and assisting with business analysis.
Machine installations at customer facilities.Machine troubleshooting and repair at customer facilities.
Stay technically prepared to answer questions regarding equipment.
Participate in meetings including machine testing, equipment shipment, and technician preparation.
Review SOW (statement of work) and other documentation for discrepancies, bring to the attention of project manager.
Assist with service & support calls and remote support when in the office.
Requirements of the Service Technician
:
70-80% domestic travel required, international travel available.
Excellent technical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude and experience.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience.
3 years of Service Technician experience preferred
3 years of experience utilizing mechanical/technical skills.
Associate degree in electrical-mechanical or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
