- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, securing repeat business and referrals. These include corporate accounts, private/social clients and government agencies.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively seek and engage new B2B leads through cold calling, networking events, direct outside sales, and relationship building.
- Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their event needs, offer personalized catering solutions, and ensure a seamless experience.
- Sales Presentations & Tastings: Deliver compelling presentations and tastings to prospective clients - showcasing our services, menu options, and event capabilities.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a substantial pipeline of leads and/or lapsed clients - maximizing opportunities for new business and achieving sales targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, event planning, and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of events from start to finish.
- Networking & Market Knowledge: Attend local business networking events and identify new corporate catering opportunities in Manhattan and surrounding areas.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, ideally in the catering, events, or hospitality industries.
- Existing network of contacts, including corporate, private/social, and government accounts, is a plus.
- Proficiency in relationship building, outbound sales, and delivering compelling sales presentations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
