    Position Summary:
    As the Manager, you will oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Reporting to the Director, you will play a crucial role in maintaining departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
    Essential Functions:
    - Assist in establishing departmental goals to support the organization's vision
    - Manage staff relations and performance to ensure a positive work environment
    - Coordinate scheduling, staff development, recruitment, and other HR functions
    - Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, and vendor relations
    - Cultivate a professional growth-oriented environment within the department
    - Maintain focus on the department's role in the continuum of care

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Education:
    - High school diploma or equivalent
    - Associate's degree (Preferred)
    *Relevant experience may substitute for required education
    Skills:
    - Critical thinking, judgment, and ability to work independently
    - Proficiency in ICD-10 Official Coding Guidelines and coding systems
    - Familiarity with HIM.COD policies
    Certifications:
    One of the following certifications required:
    - Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
    - Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
    - Certified Evaluation & Management Coder (CEMC)
    - Certified Hematology & Oncology Coder (CHONC)
    - Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA)
    - Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
    - Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
    - Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)

    Work Experience:
    - 5 years in coding
    - 3 years of supervisor experience (Preferred)
