    Financial Planner

    Financial Planners are the point of contact and relationship managers to high income/high net worth clients. Financial Planners manage a portfolio of clients to assess, understand, and identify their banking needs, and to provide options for wealth advice, banking products, and investment/insurance offerings.

    Financial Planner Qualifications

    • Bachelors in finance or related field
    • CFP Designation
    • Series 7 & 66 license within 6 months of hire date, if not already held
    • Understanding of and compliance with industry rules and regulations
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellence in multi-tasking, decision making, and problem solving
    • Excellence in sales and customer service

    Financial Planner Responsibilities

    • Assess, understand, and identify clients' banking needs
    • Provide clients with options for wealth advice, banking products, and investment/insurance offerings
    • Gather information regarding investments, savings, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, asset allocation, evaluating risk tolerance
    • Develop financial strategies by assisting client in setting financial goals and mattching goals to appropriate financial plans
    • Communicate proposed financial plans and options to cllients, explaining advantages and risks, answering questions, and assisting with concerns
    • Cultivate/build relationship with trust, communication, and effectiveness
    • Continued growth and learning, keeping up on industry trends, market research, and industry rules/regulations
