    This position offers remote work flexibility with expected working hours in CST/EST. The ideal candidate will be open to periodic engagement near Rockford, Illinois and Windsor Locks, CT, with travel expected to be around 15%.

    What YOU will do:

  • You will work in a Power and Controls, Central Digital Engineering DevOps team to develop and support DevOps pipelines for Build, Test, Automated Artifact generation and software release.
  • You will work alongside digital product lifecycle teams in India to configure, integrate, and support tools for improved software development.
  • You will be a point of contact for the business for DevOps projects' status.
  • You will work within Embedded Product Software Environment utilizing DO178, DO330/331 or equivalent experience.
  • What YOU will learn:

  • You will gain the knowledge of applying DevOps to Aerospace software product development and compliance testing.
  • You will gain experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and cloud strategy implementation.
  • Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Qualifications you must have:

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Proficiency in DevSecOps Agile Project Management.
  • Experience with Object or Component-Oriented Development Software.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and Release Engineering Process.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Ability to conduct Compliance Testing and Management.
  • Experience in Software Test Case Automation.
  • Skills we value:

  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps/DevOps setup, management, and utilization of software factory/tools pipeline for embedded software product development.
  • Familiarity with various software process tools such as Polarion ALM Tools Suite, Gitlab, VSCode, Eclipse, Jenkins, Matlab, Polyspace, Coverity, Artifactory, Rapita, Robot Framework, and Grafana.
  • Proficiency in API Integration.
  • Knowledge of Safety Critical Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience with Virtualization, including Virtual Machines and Docker/Containers
