    Santa Barbara Dance Arts is seeking an Customer Care Assistant Manager to conduct a wide range of creative and administrative duties at a thriving Dance Studio and Performing Arts Center in Santa Barbara, California.

    This is a family-friendly educational environment that relies heavily on strong customer service backed by an organized and streamlined back office. The Customer Care Assistant Manager has a balance of front facing customer service while managing Rentals, Private Lessons, Birthday Parties, and creative projects relating to visuals, content creation, and company culture. The candidate will also maintain our social media presence, research marketing trends, post content on each relevant platform, and encourage audience engagement. This also includes the creation of graphics for socials, visuals, and the website in Canva.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Associate degree, or equivalent business experience (min 2-4 years)
    • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • An ability to communicate, verbally and written, with warmth and professionalism.
    • Strong computer literacy skills: Office Suite, Google Suite, project management software and databases with an ability to learn new programs and applications with ease.
    • Competent in Excel/Sheets with ability to build budgets and perform basic computation and percentages.
    • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills while working in a loud and boisterous environment.
    • Experience with content creation
    • Familiarity with social media best practices and reels. (algorithms and SEO a plus)
    • Has creativity and technical design aptitude and/or experience with Canva or other graphic design programs.
    • Balance of strong service, selling and upselling clients.
    • Strength in following systems with accuracy and consistency.
    • Experience working with children and Spanish speaking is a plus
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Management of Private lessons and Birthday Parties between clients and staff including billing, scheduling, contracts, and reporting.
    • Work closely with Managers and Directors to maintain accounts and service continuity with adherence to company policies.
    • Front-line service and sales support.
    • Ongoing email and phone correspondence with clients and cross-departmental communication with staff.
    • Learn and adhere to company policies.
    • Maintain social media guidelines for our brand along.
    • Maintain a posting calendar to grow our online brand through a multi-platform campaign.
    • Cultivate engagement with our followers and social media users.
    • Work with Manager to assess our progress with tools like Google Analytics
    • Update physical branded visuals around the studio.

    Hours & Compensation:
    • 25 hours per week (hourly) with seasonal overtime
    • Academic Year (mid-August to mid-June)
      • Mon, Wed, Fri: noon-4pm
      • Tues, Thurs: noon-6:30pm
      • 1x month Tuesday-Saturday with a 8:30am-11:30am
    • Summer (6-7 weeks)
      • Mon, Thurs 12:00-4:30pm
      • Tues, Wed 12:00-5:30 or 6pm
      • Friday 9am-1pm
