Description

NRS is looking for a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our team in San Diego at the Alvarado Hospital. This is a 13-week travel position.

This critical role utilizes critical thinking, confident decision making and follows care plans all while participating and working within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor the patient's progress.
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition.
• If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
• Maintain patient records.
• Create and implement effective care plans.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or in Critical Care.
• In addition the candidate shall be able to take STEMI call after 1 week orientation
• Able to perform Cardio conversions, TEE's, Tilt tables and Dobutamine stress tests.
• Experience with EPIC and Mac Lab is highly preferred.
