    Description


    A-Line Staffing is currently looking to fill the position of Pharmacy Technician with a great potential for career growth. This is not your typical retail pharmacy job - you'll be filling scripts for patients in a rehab center in a closed-door setting.

    Here's what you can expect in this role:

    • Contract assignment with the possibility of permanent hire based on your attendance, performance, and business needs
    • Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days, including health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
    • Opportunity to participate in a 401(k) plan with a company match after 1 year of service

    Now here are the specifics:

    • Location: Charlotte, NC 28205 - You'll be required to work on-site 100% of the time
    • Payrate: $19 per hour
    • Required Availability: Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 11:30 pm with rotating weekends

    Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

    • Cleaning and maintaining the Sterile Compounding room following USP 797 guidelines and state laws
    • Filling prescriptions and preparing Sterile Compounding under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
    • Handling Long-Term Care and high-risk pregnancy medications for Alere
    • Compounding medications and syringes in a clean room setting
    • Assisting pharmacists with refill orders and maintaining equipment
    • Keeping track of inventory and assisting in maintaining a safe work environment
    • Communicating any concerns regarding pharmacy operations
    • Shipping and tracking packages as needed
    • Other assigned tasks

    Requirements for the Pharmacy Technician Role:

    • High School Diploma
    • Perfect attendance during the first 90 days
    • National Certification is a plus
    • NC Pharmacy Tech license required
    • At least 1 year of compounding experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
    • Familiarity with brand name and generic medications
