- Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles;
- Collects loads and transports them;
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units;
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations;
- Conducts pre-trip inspections and monitor equipment for needed repairs, keeping reports, turning in inspections daily;
- Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
- Class A CDL required;
- 2+ years of driving experience required;
- Tanker and hazmat endorsements required;
- Ability to drive a manual and no restriction on CDL required;
- Basic computer knowledge;
- Work well in a team environment.
