    POSITION SUMMARY

    Under the general supervision of the Supply Chain Manager, performs a variety of duties including executing the plant cycle counting schedules and communicating all changes/issues that arise to the supervisor.. Must effectively participate and comply with our Health and Environmental program including training and following all policies and procedures. This position works in a team environment and is required to assist others when necessary, but must have demonstrated skills as a self-starter and be self-directed.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Employ safe work habits and complies with all applicable safety requirements
    • Executes the Plant Cycle Count Program – Follow up with Supervisor to ensure complete
    • Enters all Adjustments steaming from Cycle Counters data once approved by the supervisor
    • Performs bulk cycle counts weekly/daily
    • Investigates Identified Inventory discrepancies – Receiving, Production Confirmation errors
    • Manages Inventory movements of product and materials as needed
    • Works closely with the Purchasing team on low level Quantities
    • Completes all Month end inventory reviews/clean ups
    • Completes all Safety and Plant Training as Required
    WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Heavy manufacturing environment.
    • Exposure to noise, excessive heat, cold, and molten metal.
    • Working aloft, bending, and awkward positions.
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    • Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting.
    • Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the workday.
    • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    • Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma
    • 1+ years progressive inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Computer applications in Microsoft Office
    • MRP System Experience
    • Cycle Counting Experience an asset
    • Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time
    • Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching on a daily basis
    • Employee must use and maintain their PPE, and follow Area specific PPE policies and rules
    • Organizational Skills: Must be able to take and follow directions.

    • Problem Solving: High degree of analysis, problem solving and creativity.
    • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge gained through production experience in a manufacturing environment.
