Position Details:
Perform sterile techniques, set up surgical trays, prepare and drape patients for surgery, and assist with post-operative dressingsEnsure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedureMaintain a clean, safe environment for the patient by actively cleaning clinical spaces, operating rooms, and medical equipment or guiding other personnel in environmental maintenance

Position Requirements:

Hold current national certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical AssistingGraduate from a Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)Have completed an appropriate training program for surgical technologists in the armed forces, at a CAAHEP accredited hospital or CAAHEP ambulatory surgical treatment center program, or complete the surgical technologists LCC-ST certifying exam within 18 months from the date of hireActive BLS18 months of recent surgical experienceU.S.
