**Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES****:**
Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the Red Carpet Customer Service Program.
Selects betting ticket information, accepts wagers, creates vouchers, cashes winning tickets and vouchers, and generates tickets in accordance with company policy.
Prepares and reconciles cash receipts at the sports wagering fixed window or counter.
Counts down and turns in cash receipts at shift-end.
Sets boards up for days activities, updates board information and puts results on the board.
Intervenes for wagers greater than $500 placed at kiosks located outside the casino gaming operation admissions turnstiles.
Balancing drawers at the end of the shift.
Monitors patrons for whether age verification is necessary.
Performs other relevant duties as deemed necessary by management.
Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in the ICs.
Communicate status of fluctuating cash levels to appropriate management.
Answers phone calls with proper phone etiquette.
Complies with state, company, department policies and regulations.
Assists supervisors and co-workers as needed.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES****:**
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
**QUALIFICATIONS****:**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by management.
Bookmaking experience, which includes the ability to move game lines and update futures.
Able to work all shifts and all days of the week.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must obtain a Louisiana Gaming License.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one (1) year of cash handling experience preferred, but not required.
