Job Description:

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Mar Y Sol Mental Health Experts, you will:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of patients.
• Prescribe and manage medication regimens for patients.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Utilize electronic prescriptions and medical records for efficient patient management.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

-Must hold credentials to prescribe medication (PMHNP, FNP, psychiatric APRN) in Connecticut.

• Comfortable working with adults as well as treating adolescents and children.
• Strong dedication to providing high quality, compassionate care.
• Openness to working in a hybrid model, incorporating both telehealth and in person appointments.
• While we encourage and value your independence, our child and adult psychiatrist maintains an open door policy, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
