Medical Oncology Floor (4th Floor) Inpatient Medical Oncology at Christian Hospital consists of a 28-bed unit, including 2 comfort suites for end-of-life patients, caring for 75% medical patients and 25% hematology/oncology patients, all aged 18 and above.
Christian Hospital has been serving St. Louis and neighboring areas since 1903. Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as No. 5 in St. Louis for overall clinical excellence and No. 9 in Missouri, ranking in the top 6% of state hospitals.
The hospital excels in various clinical specialties and common procedures including geriatrics, heart conditions, kidney failure, diabetes, COPD, pneumonia, and stroke care.
Northwest HealthCare, located six miles west, offers emergency care, Sleep Disorders Center, and outpatient services.
The Oncology unit admits acutely ill patients with conditions such as cancer, hematological disorders, anemia, and others. Patients' ages range from 16 and above.
