    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Daytime Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Daytime Breakfast Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes efficiently and consistently during our daytime service hours. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position requires a passion for breakfast cuisine, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and cook breakfast items according to standardized recipes, ensuring taste, presentation, and quality meet or exceed our establishment's standards.
    • Safely handle and store food items to maintain freshness and reduce wastage.
    • Efficiently manage food preparation by coordinating timing with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
    • Follow all health and safety guidelines and adhere to proper food handling and sanitation practices.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients and equipment.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new breakfast menu items, seasonal specials, and contribute to menu development.
    • Communicate effectively with servers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely execution of breakfast orders.
    • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, report shortages, and assist in placing orders to ensure adequate stock.
    • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
    • Stay updated on current industry trends and techniques related to breakfast cuisine.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a line cook or breakfast cook in a fast-paced restaurant or similar establishment.
    • Extensive knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques, including eggs, pancakes, omelets, breakfast meats, and other traditional breakfast dishes.
    • Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.
    • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
    • Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
    • Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
    • Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
