    Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Central Maryland (ASAP

    ASAP, with ongoing opportunities, and provides flexibility with no weekends, no call, and a Monday to Friday schedule.


    Position Overview:

    Start Date:

    ASAP

    • Ongoing End Date: Ongoing (initial assignment until October 10, 2024)

    Practice Setting:
    Outpatient (No inpatient duties required)

    Shift Hours:
    Monday

    • Friday, 8:00 AM
    • 5:00 PM Procedures: Urologyfocused procedures requiring general/MAC anesthesia

    Patient Load:
    Approximately 8 patients per shift

    Coverage Type:
    Scheduled clinical hours only (No call, no weekends)

    Provider Count:
    One anesthesiologist per location EMR System:

    Cerner Key Requirements:
    Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in the state of

    Maryland Board Certification:
    Board certified or board eligible in

    Anesthesiology Certifications Required:
    ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)

    Privileges:
    Provider must be able to obtain temporary hospital/surgery center privileges quickly Benefits:

    While hospital stroke certification is not required, general/MAC anesthesia experience is essential.
