The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient care, administrative duties, and customer support. They perform clinical duties such as discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy,
collecting specimens,
performing diagnostic screening tests,
sterilizing/cleaning equipment,
maintaining examination rooms,
and documenting information into the electronic medical records system.
