    As a Senior Project Manager for Water/Wastewater, you would be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of Water and Wastewater Engineering projects from initiation to completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities and skills associated with this role are as follows:
    • Possess a strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, engineering principles, and relevant technologies.
    • Stay updated on environmental regulations and ensure that projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required.
    • Proactively identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and plans to address potential issues.
    • Create and maintain project budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to stay within budget.
    • Negotiate contract terms and conditions and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
    • Monitor project expenditures and financial performance.
    • Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
    • Prepare and provide regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders and address any concerns. Highlight key achievements, challenges, and future milestones.
    • Obtain necessary permits and approvals for water and wastewater projects.
    • Lead a project team of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their expertise.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to the project team.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that projects meet industry standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and reviews to monitor project progress and quality.
