    The Kelso School District serves the educational needs of nearly 5,000 students from preschool through high school. The school district has six elementary schools, two middle schools, one comprehensive high school, and four alternative high schools/programs. Voters in the Kelso community have a long history of supporting school levies and bonds.

    Kelso is located along the I-5 corridor on Interstate 5, at the confluence of the Cowlitz, Coweeman and Columbia Rivers.

    Kelso is 48 miles north of Portland, Oregon and 125 miles south of Seattle.
