    Description

    We are currently looking for a take-charge individual who is interested in joining a well-established and innovative company in a booming industry. Bathing Brands, a national leader in the distribution, installation, and maintenance of steam and sauna bathing environments is currently searching for a Bookkeeper. A background in the construction industry or trades is welcomed but not required. This position reports to the Finance Division Manager.

    Bookkeeper Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining the accounting system in accordance with company policy and procedures
    • Manages and perform monthly accounting close cycle
    • Apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable standards
    • Perform activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and overseeing weekly check runs
    • Perform account receivable functions including payment applications, collections, and revenue recognition
    • W-9 Requests
    • Partial and final waivers
    • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Assist with file Monthly sales tax return
    • Customer and vendor maintenance via database software
    • Maintain and prepare required periodic reports

    Qualifications

    • Two to four years of related experience
    • Ability to work with all levels of management.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
    • Proficient in Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office
