HHHunt's newest Spring Arbor Senior Living Community, the Cottage of Fredericksburg is seeking detail-oriented, safety conscious Housekeepers with the knowledge of sanitation protocols and regulations to maintain the cleanliness of the house and foster a positive environment for our residents. The ideal candidates must be able to work in an environment conducive to caring for senior residents being customer service oriented, dependable and friendly.
**Cleaning Functions**
+ Clean residents bathrooms and common bathrooms as assigned
+ Dust, vacuum and empty trash in residents rooms, entryways, hallways and common areas as scheduled
+ Wash windows as scheduled
+ Clean carpets and upholstery and move furniture to aid cleaning process
+ Maintain a sufficient stock of cleaning supplies and load cleaning cart as necessary
+ Ensure the cleaning cart is properly secured at all times
**Residents Rights Functions**
+ Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents rights at all times and report observed violations
+ Observe residents and report concerns as necessary to the Supervisor In Charge (SIC)
+ Assist or obtain assistance for residents when necessary
+ Maintain positive communication and helpful attitude when interacting with residents, guests and co-workers
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**
+ Ability to resolve residents housekeeping needs in a timely and efficient manner
+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions for task completion
+ Knowledge of safety and sanitary rules and requirements
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
+ Must be 18 years or older
+ Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
