Odessa, TX, USA Req #697 Tuesday, February 1, 2022 **POSITION SUMMARY** The Shop Hand will provide general support to the maintenance department and make decisions concerning prioritization in accomplishing assigned tasks. **Key Accountabilities**

Ensure adherence to workplace safety, environmental, national safety code, NexTier, government, as well as client policies and regulations.

Perform basic maintenance and various mechanical duties under the supervision and direction of shop staff.

Ensure service shop is clean and organized.

Report any mechanical deficiencies or other areas of concern to appropriate shop staff.

Operate all equipment in a safe and reasonable manner.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

Assists and works well with others to accomplish goals and maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations.

Action oriented, establishes clear goals and priorities with realistic timelines. Identifies and obtains resources necessary to achieve objectives. Executes with sense of urgency and establishes clear contingency plans to address potential roadblocks.

H.S. Diploma - Required
