    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team in the *San Jose, CA *Area

    *Full Time, Full Benefits M-F 8-5, UP to $150k/yr, Based on Experiences*As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team.


    Duties:

    • Manage and supervise the service department staff, including technicians and support personnel
    • Coordinate and schedule service appointments to ensure timely completion of work
    • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians on complex repairs and maintenance tasks
    • Monitor and evaluate technician performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all service operations
    • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, invoices, and customer information
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve service department efficiency and productivity
    • Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus
    • Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the automotive industry
    • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures
    • Familiarity with a variety of equipment repair, including shocks struts, forklifts, air brakes, farm machinery, and industrial equipment
    • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
    • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and address their concerns
    • Proficient computer skills for record keeping and reporting purposes
