    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement scholarship programs in line with the college's goals and objectives.
    Promote scholarship opportunities to students, faculty, and the community. Organize information sessions, workshops, and presentations to raise awareness about available scholarships.

    Oversee the scholarship application process using the award spring database system, including collecting and reviewing applications, ensuring all required documentation is submitted, and managing deadlines.

    Work closely with the college's scholarship committee to evaluate scholarship applications based on established criteria. Facilitate the selection of scholarship recipients.
    Communicate with applicants, recipients, and donors regarding the status of applications, award decisions, and any additional requirements.
    Maintain accurate records of scholarship recipients, donors, and funds. Utilize databases or systems to track and manage scholarship information.

    Collaborate with the financial aid office to ensure that scholarship awards are appropriately integrated into the overall financial aid package for students.

    Ensure compliance with college policies, legal regulations, and industry standards related to scholarships and financial aid.

    Collaborate with the Office of Student Affairs for scholarship-related events, such as award ceremonies or recognition events for donors and recipients.

    Collaborate with College's foundation and Institutional Advancement in fundraising efforts to secure additional scholarship funds for the college and expand opportunities for students.

    Provide support and guidance to students seeking information about scholarships, application procedures, and eligibility criteria.
    Assist financial aid office with other duties as assigned.


    Required Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or institution.
    Eight (8) years of experience in student affairs can substitute for minimum education requirement.

    Ability to collaborate with various departments within the college as well as students, staff, and external agencies
    Understanding of financial aid regulations and compliance with Federal Guidelines.

    Preferred Education: N/A


    Preferred Experience: Knowledge of basic marketing strategies and five (5) years higher education experience in student affairs. Experience working a higher education Award Spring Software and Banner ERP system.


    Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
