Engineering Manager – Injection Molding

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of injection molds utilizing, optimizing mold design parameters, fill patterns, gate locations, clamp tonnage, and cosmetic quality measures
• Define and procure new injection molding equipment and technology
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the facility
• Lead and support Injection Molding Technicians and Engineers

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technical Field
• 5 Years Experience in a leadership role within Injection Molding
• Extensive knowledge of mold design, scientific molding, and the injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Experience with CAD and Mold Simulation software

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in small tonnage, tight tolerance molding (Microns)
• Experience with high heat engineering grade resins
