Job Description

We are seeking an intern for the Litchfield, IL Tax Services Department to assist with tax preparation, analysis, and planning. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in an accounting program at a sophomore level or higher and plan to pursue CPA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare trust and individual income tax returns
Analyze tax notices and draft responses
Assist with tax planning, projections, and research
Provide support for tax return preparation

Requirements:

Enrolled in an accounting program (sophomore level or higher)
Pursuing CPA certification
Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong planning and organization skills
Detail-oriented
Basic understanding of tax services
