    Salary:
    $90,000

    - $135,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team.


    This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in a comprehensive practice of law, focusing on real estate, land use, property tax, tax appeal, transactions, and litigation.


    The ideal candidate will be able to handle a high volume of complex, high-priority cases while maintaining an exceptional standard of service.


    This position requires a legal professional who is competent in handling a diverse range of legal issues, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively manage multiple priorities.

    Job Details Responsibilities:
    Provide comprehensive legal support for all real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and construction.

    Handle land use matters, including zoning, planning, and environmental compliance.

    Manage property tax matters, including assessments, appeals, and exemptions.

    Conduct tax appeals and transactions with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

    Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and memorandums.

    Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.

    Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.

    Maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain legal options, provide advice, and obtain instructions.

    Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative and effective ways.

    Qualifications:
    Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

    Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law, land use, property tax, tax appeal, transactions, and litigation.

    Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases.

    Exceptional legal research and writing skills.

    Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and documents.

    Strong negotiation and litigation skills.


    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.

    Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

    Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

    Proficiency in using legal software and technology for research, case management, and other relevant tasks.

    High level of professional ethics and integrity.
