    About the Role

    We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Powered Electric) to join our new 2nd‑shift team. The role will be a first shift position until September when the new shift goes live. This role provides first‑line support for all production and assembly machinery, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

    What You'll Do

    In this role, you will:

    Maintain & Repair Equipment

    • Plan and execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and scheduled shutdowns
    • Control equipment downtime, MTTR/MTBF, and drive continuous improvement
    • Troubleshoot and repair Siemens PLCs
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures and support breakdown investigations
    • Collaborate with Engineering on new equipment installation

    Reporting & Documentation

    • Produce daily and monthly maintenance activity reports
    • Maintain accurate materials and spare parts records
    • Develop breakdown repair manuals and update maintenance documentation
    • Execute SAP Time-Based Preventive Maintenance modules

    Training & Safety

    • Assess and coordinate departmental training needs
    • Maintain proper PPE per OSHA standards
    • Promote safety, attend/lead safety meetings, and support the Maintenance Supervisor

    What You Bring

    Education & Experience

    • 5+ years of maintenance technician experience
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Technical degree preferred
    • Automotive or automated production experience strongly desired
    • Experience with SAP, robotics, conveyor systems, or Lean practices a plus
    • Siemens PLC experience preferred

    Technical Skills

    • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems
    • Understanding of TPM techniques
    • Familiarity with hydraulic presses, centrifugal pumps, servo motors, and electrical schematics
    • Proficiency with hand and power tools
    • Welding experience (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW)
    • Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
    • Safe work practices including LOTO
    • Mechatronics background preferred

    Working Conditions

    • 80% production floor / 20% office
    • Extensive walking and standing
    • Occasional bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs
    • Must be flexible for multiple shifts and weekend support
    • PPE required at all times
    • Team-based environment with strict adherence to safety protocols
