We provide food services in an array of celebrated New York City cultural institutions including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Wave Hill, and The Apollo Theater. We are known for full-service catering and events, corporate workplace dining and amenity programs, and large-scale event and festival production. Great Performances is the nation's first caterer to own and operate an organic farm, Katchkie Farm located in Kinderhook, NY. Responsibilities:

• Anticipates guest needs and derives satisfaction from providing excellent customer service.
• Cleaning and maintaining cabanas.
• Composing platters with proper food items.
• Follow the Manager's direction with a positive attitude.
• Accurately maintain customer tabs.
• Ability to understand a "sense of urgency."

Requirements:

• Minimum three years front of house food service experience or bartending.
• Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to describe menu items.
• Experienced in using restaurant POS systems, cash, and credit card handling.
• Keep a clean and polished appearance.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. and stand for at least 8 hours.

Hourly rate: $18-22 /hour + substantial tips

Job Type: Part-time/ Seasonal

Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
