    Job description:We are currently seeking Industrial Electricians You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers in the local Charleston area.

    $1,000 Sign Bonus
    Responsibilities:
    • Working with 2160, 480, 240, 208, 110Vac, and 24Vdc wiring;
    • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of electrical equipment installations;
    • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and other electrical components;
    • Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance;
    • Maintain, repair, install and test switch-gear, transformers, and switchboard meters;
    • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair, electrical and low voltage control systems and other related devices;
    • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to the immediate supervisor;
    • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean;
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:Required Education & Certifications:
    • Licensed Journeyman electrician;
    • First Aid Standard Level;
    • Clean background for the past 7 years working at various sites, as the customer required.
    Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
    • 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting as a Journeyman Electrician carrying out electrical tasks associated with installations and maintenance in industrial settings;
    • Proficient in academic and practical knowledge of the Code and Standards in the Electrical Industry;
    • Proficient at bending conduit;
    • Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems;
    • Experience planning and carrying out electrical construction tasks in a team environment;
    • Experience performing work on power distribution systems;
    • Experience interpreting blueprints and specifications;
    • Candidates must be comfortable working at heights;
    • Good troubleshooting skills, repair abilities, and installation skills;
    • Able to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions;
    • Attention to detail;
    • Strong communications skills and customer service orientation;
    • Strong work ethic and positive attitude;

    Hours, Pay, & Benefits:
    • Full-time position
    • Temp to Hire
    • Willing to work overtime
    • $24 - $28 hourly pay, depending on background experience
    • $1,000 Sign Bonus
    • PTO (after a certain amount of time on the job)
