    Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

    Analyzes images and identifies issues with the quality of images. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure if clinically appropriate.
    Prepares equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
    Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
    Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.

    Radiology (Required)ARRT American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Cert American Heart non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE), BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS), Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)

    Complexity of Work:
    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision


    Required Work Experience:
    No previous CT experience required.
    One year of radiology technologist experience is preferred.
    Registered in computed tomography (CT) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 1 year of hire date.

    Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
