    Description

    Growing company is seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in land development projects and proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will ensure that designs meet all required standards and specifications specified by the local jurisdiction, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Comprehend engineering principles related to land development.
    • Generate engineering drawings, pipe networks, and corridors.
    • Experience in grading for various sites like subdivisions, commercial, and retail properties.
    • Develop drainage studies, conduct hydrology and hydraulic calculations.
    • Design erosion control measures and draft stormwater management plans.
    • Conduct roadway design tasks.
    • Plan water and sanitary sewer layouts.
    • Perform utility studies.
    • Proficient in utilizing water cad, storm cad, and UD Sewer software.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical field. 3-5 years of experience preferred, though candidates with 5-10 years in design engineering for civil land development will also be considered.
    • Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD is a must.

    • Strong organizational abilities.
    • Effective teamwork and communication skills.
    • Capability to interact with clients and government bodies.
    • Aptitude for training other team members.
    • Ability to interpret Construction Plans.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
