CSAis currently seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Norfolk, VA.This position is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the overall IT enterprise architecture, aligning it with business strategies and goals
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology roadmaps, standards, and guidelines that ensure effective and efficient IT solutions
Conduct analysis of existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and increased performance
Provides technical leadership for specifying, designing, implementing, testing, accrediting, deploying, and sustaining enterprise system and service architectures in a distributed, net-centric environment
Leverages DoD policies, architectural frameworks, and commercial best practices to design and develop Service Oriented Architectures that satisfy enterprise scale requirements
Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and promoting innovation
Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's IT strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration strategies and data exchange protocols
Participate in the evaluation and selection of vendors and technologies, ensuring they align with architectural standards and business needs
Keeps abreast of new enterprise architecture solutions including leading edge technologies such as grid computing, cloud computing, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Maintains technical currency on evolving technology trends and available COTS products that implement these technologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related discipline
Minimum 12 years of experience in functions related to IT Enterprise Architecture in the field or in a related area within DoD/Navy programs
Proven ability to leverage DoD policies, architectural frameworks, and commercial best practices to design and develop Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs) that satisfy enterprise scale requirements
Experience leading system architects and engineers in decomposing enterprise architecture into system components and services for analysis, design, implementation, testing, accreditation, deployment, and sustainment
Experience creating DoDAF products using enterprise tools, including System Architect or Cameo
Demonstrated knowledge of new enterprise architecture solutions including leading edge technologies such as grid computing, cloud computing, and SOA
In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
Proven experience in defining and implementing IT enterprise architectures, including the integration of complex systems
Strong understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, network infrastructure, and security principles
Familiarity with government regulations and security standards, such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and evaluate complex technical environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
U.S. Citizenship required
DoD Secret-Level Clearance
One or more of the following certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting NAVSEA clients
First-hand experience with Naval shipyard and/or Naval maintenance facilities
