Cases:
bread and butter general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics (ENT and Restorative Dental), GI endoscopy and ERCP, minimal OB, urology, some orthopedic spine.
No hearts or neuro required (No blocks)Department includes ten OR's, two GI suites, OB, Interventional Radiology and MRI, and a Vascular Hybrid room.
GI includes over 2,000 cases per year.
Orthopedics roughly 1,000 cases per year.
General surgery 700 cases per year.
ENT roughly 700 cases per year.
Urology 650 cases per year.
Pediatric dentistry 350 cases per year.
Vascular 175 cases per year.
Gynecology and Obstetrics around 200 cases per year with an average of 365 deliveries.

Job Description:
Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Candidate Requirements:
Active Nebraska License and DEA
Graduate of an accredited program
