    **Description**

    We are seeking a Forklift Operator for our Bakersfield branch. As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations within the branch yard. This includes but is not limited to, shipping, receiving and inventory control.

    **Qualifications for a** **Forklift Operator** **Include:**

    Proven warehouse and forklift experience

    Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials

    Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend and twist throughout complete shifts

    **Responsibilities of a** **Forklift Operator** **Include:**

    Safe operation of a forklift

    Accurate shipping, receiving and fulfillment of customer orders

    Preparing and staging materials for customer pickups and local deliveries

    Safely loading will-call orders into customer vehicles

    Ensuring yard products and materials are staged safely and neatly

    General yard maintenance and upkeep

    Continuously abiding by all safety guidelines and procedures

    Inventory control
