    Description

    Join Iteris as a dedicated Quoting Specialist for Sales, where you'll play a pivotal role in crafting precise project quotations for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) hardware, software subscriptions, and services. In this dynamic position, you'll guide projects from initial quotes to finalized orders, providing essential support to our sales teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate accurate quotations based on customer requests, project plans, and specifications using Salesforce and CPQ tools.
    • Review and understand the project scope from bid documents (RFP/RFQ/IFB) to deliver tailored and compliant solutions for customers.
    • Prepare detailed submittals, including cut sheets and compliance matrices, to assist in timely bid approvals.
    • Collaborate with channel partners, distributors, and Iteris Account Executives to ensure quotes and orders are accurate and complete.
    • Support post-sales processes by confirming the timely submission of purchase orders, facilitating a smooth transition to Order Operations.
    • Work closely with various Iteris teams in your region to create revenue opportunities and resolve any outstanding issues.
    • Maintain an organized library of templates and submittals, capturing lessons learned for future reference.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quote volume and order conversion rates to meet and exceed targets.

    Qualifications for Success:

    • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • 2-4 years of experience in quoting, project coordination, or sales operations, specifically related to technical solutions.
    • A proactive self-starter who can manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce, CPQ tools, and Excel; experience with Adobe/Bluebeam and shared file systems is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with public-sector procurement processes and bid portal workflows.
    • Experience collaborating with electrical distributors, contractors, or in contexts involving public-sector project quoting.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams.
    • Ability to interpret and analyze schematics, plan sets, and specifications.

    Iteris offers a competitive salary ranging from $68,700 to $74,800, plus quarterly commissions. Actual pay may vary based on skills and experience.
