Under the close supervision of the Administrator I, the incumbent is responsible for resolving Business Entities (BE), Limited Liability Company (LLC)/Partnership, and Corporation accounts.
The incumbent applies the Revenue and Taxation Code (R&TC), administrative regulations, and policy and procedures to maximize the collection of revenue.
While providing exceptional customer service to taxpayers and tax professionals, the incumbent is responsible for the thoroughness of their work and timely follow up.

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to clearly demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications and Alternate Range Placement for the position on your State Application (STD Form 678).
Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work with a willingness to shift priorities to meet program goals
Experience with Business Enitity (BE) income tax laws, policies, and procedures
Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines while providing exceptional customer service
Knowledge of Franchise Tax Board (FTB) systems such as Business Entity Tax System (BETS), Taxpayer Services Center Section (TSCS), Exempts, Enterprise Tax System (ETS), Accounts Receivable Collection System (ARCS), Taxpayer Folder (TPF), Case Management (CM), Integrated Nonfiler Compliance (INC), Board of Equalization (BOE), Secretary of State (SOS), and Lexis Nexis or other similar programs
Experience using Knows Suspension, Revivor requirements, Order to Withhold (OTW), or a similar collection accounting system
Ability to work independently and in a team environment while demonstrating initiative, integrity, dependability, ownership, and accountability
Positive, self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively analyze issues, define problems, and recommend effective solutions
Excellent technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
Collection and accounting experience
Experience in financial services
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneNote
Ability to analyze information, utilize good judgment, and take effective actions
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze and explain BE issues
Ability to accept the challenges of working with multiple priorities
Flexibility and a positive attitude
Reliability, professionalism, and courtesy
