As a Reservation Coordinator, effective and engaging communication is the key when speaking to fellow Colleagues and Guests.

Reporting to the Director of Reservations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceBook and enter room reservation requests using the Opera Central Reservations System and Property Management SystemEnsure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilitiesUpdate reservations ensuring a flawless check-in and check-out processOffer dedicated support to the Sales & Marketing teamMeet and exceed personal and team revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis as applicableAnswer incoming reservation calls in a timely mannerRespond to leads sent from into common reservation inboxFollow up with clients through Lead System in TRACKReply to reservation e-mails and double check accuracy of reservation/notes createdInput Comp Room nights through CUDA formsHandle and distribute faxes, voice messages and written messages for external GuestsHave a sufficient working knowledge of all departments, in particular Housekeeping, Front Office and EngineeringAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayFollow department policies, procedures and service standardsLiaise with Sales and other departments as requiredFollow all safety policiesOther duties as assignedQualifications Previous room reservation sales experience an assetMust possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal communication skillsComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as neededAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Frequent sitting throughout shiftOccasional standing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingAdditional Information Your team and working environment:A team of Heartists that are committed to working together, supporting each other, and providing the best guest experience, Feel Valued, Feel Sparked, We Are OneOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talentWhy work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
