Description

Join our team as an Electrical Engineer, where you will be responsible for providing electrical design and engineering support for industrial control panels and other electrical systems in both prototype and production phases. Your role will involve panel design, project management, procurement support, and manufacturing assistance.

Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand and develop control systems requirements.
Create industrial control panel and electrical system designs using tools like AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy in areas such as schematics, mechanical layout, and bills of materials.
Address procurement issues in collaboration with the supply chain team.
Provide guidance to manufacturing personnel to prevent and resolve assembly challenges.
Utilize ERP systems to track work orders and procurement statuses effectively.
Lead control panel design and build projects from start to finish.
Offer cost estimates to support the sales team.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

3+ years of technical experience in electrical control systems.
A technical degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Capacity to collaborate and maintain professionalism in a dynamic work environment.
Familiarity with electrical standards like UL508A, NFPA79, and NFPA70.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency in electrical design using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of and experience with electrical hand tools, crimping, and soldering techniques.
