    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The individual must have the ability to
    perform the responsibilities listed below. The list is not all inclusive of duties that may be
    requested by the department head or a member of upper management but are intended for
    an understanding of the purpose of the position. It is the responsibility of each individual at
    AWG to provide ultimate customer service to our members to support their efforts in
    increasing same store sales and profits.


    • Review and verify the receiving schedule. Verify receiving documents against the bill
    of lading provided by the carrier.


    • Print pallet tags for scheduled deliveries.
    • Log in drivers time of arrival, door assignment and departure times on the computer.
    • Provide daily receiving statistics to the distribution management team (ie: late trucks,
    daily receiving totals).


    • Create a daily report for supervisor review on what deliveries are late or have not
    shown by their appointment time.


    • Enter the receiving information into inventory along with any adjustments or
    corrections after the receiver has verified and tagged delivery.


    • Fax and email daily receiving information to the corporate and division transportation

    department (ie:
    overages, shortages, damage and late trucks).


    • Manage the office supplies, ordering with supervisor approval, along with supplies
    for copy machine and fax machine


    • Answer phones and handle calls in an efficient and appropriate manner.
    • Print and calculate total pallets moved by lift drivers for supervisor review.
    • File documents are required.
    • Work as a member of the AWG team so the total job responsibilities are met. Actions
    must always stress a sense of cooperation, integrity, tact and consideration with our
    members, associates and division management.


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be
    able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
    representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A reasonable accommodation

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS and/or


    EXPERIENCE:
    High school diploma preferred; prior
    warehouse experience plus warehouse mobile equipment operating experience preferred.

    Basic required competencies:
    Conscientiousness, detail oriented, safety minded, self
    motivated to achieve, high initiative, ability to work with limited supervision, team oriented,
    learning and applying information, ability to follow instructions in English (both written and
    verbal).


    LANGUAGE SKILLS:
    Ability to read and speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret
    documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write
    routine reports and correspondence relating to position.


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
    Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math and
    algebra.


    REASONING ABILITY:
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
    concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret
    a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Posses the
    ability to work with coworkers and gain mutual respect with a common goal of increasing
    sales and profitability.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands
    to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or
    hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and
    smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision
    abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
    vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    Indoors, with adequate cooling, heating, and adequate lighting. Outdoors as needed.
    Working in a warehouse environment with moderate noise due to industrial mobile
    equipment operation and varied temperatures based on the assigned work area.

    Department in continuous growth and financial success of the Membership and Company.
