    Job DescriptionUMMATIONActively searching for a Senior Supply Chain Inventory expert to join our innovative team.

    This person will work with our enterprise and Watsco subsidiaries on strategies and actions to optimize inventory and related activities across our wholesale supply chain network.

    Primary focus on optimizing inventory and demand planning strategies/activities to achieve and maintain optimized customer service levels, forecasting accuracy, turns and planned financial goals.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to Inventory Demand Planning Board, this role has heavy emphasis on change management, guidance, influence, coaching, training, education, analytics, and overall support to all Watsco enterprise subsidiaries in the following aspects:


    • Guide and support enterprise attainment of key corporate initiatives through supply chain metrics - Service level, forecasting accuracy, inventory level optimization, turns and financial goals.
    • Leverage enterprise tools and systems to drive continuous improvement, and strategic inventory initiatives, and enhance the performance of the demand planning/inventory strategy functions
    • Strategic and proactive monitoring of inventory levels, forecasts, order cadences, seasonality, and impact of potential supply chain disruptions
    • Utilization of data analysis to support supply chain organizational goals and objectives
    • Utilization of data/analytics to identify the value-add for specific initiatives/projects (Inventory, ROI, turns, cost to serve, other deliverables)
    • Provide people, process, technology and analytics related functional expertise and skills to support all business units within the enterprise
    • Strategic guidance based on analytical data results, measurement of progress, and recommendations of how to utilize people, process and technology in unique business scenarios
    • Assist enterprise in identifying under-performing aspects of the business, and help formulate strategies to overcome and improve results
    • Manage/maintain successful partnership with subsidiaries - enhance Customer Service aspect
    • Support and provide ad-hoc data analysis for key Executives as needed KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS

    • Ability to carry multiple projects/deadlines all at once with potential for changing conditions and deadlines all within a fast-paced environmentAnd here is what you will need to be successful:FOUNDATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science or related area, or equivalent substantive work experience
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Inventory Optimization, Supply Chain Planning/Analytics, Replenishment, Forecasting
    • High proficiency in utilization of demand planning/forecasting, data analytics/business intelligence software applications
    • Advanced proficiency in operations of AS400
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Demand Planning, Forecasting, and/or S OP, Supply Chain Certification a plus
    • Previous experience of managing oversight of technologically developed demand planning, replenishment and/or inventory optimization SaaS application/platform
    • Expertise/strength in Business Intelligence applications (Microstrategy, SQL, data warehousing/mining)
    • Established experience training/coaching others on the use of purchasing systems/forecasting/demand planning/analytics
    • Prior experience with collaborative applications (Zoom, OneNote, MS Teams, Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
    • Some travel required
