Minimum Requirements: - Security experience required management experience preferred, experience in a resort desired.
- Operation and supervision of the security department in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and the physical property of Cheeca Lodge. Must be able to work well and professionally with guests, other employees as well as vendors.
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
- Handles complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
- Monitors all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the well-being of guests and employees.
- Loss prevention operations to include but not limited to patrol process, emergency response, investigations (initial & follow up) for all guest and employee related incidents, shipping and receiving process, electronic key system.
- Analyzes information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Informs and/or updates the executives and peers on relevant information in a timely manner.
- Provides information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Must either have, or be able to develop relationships with local law enforcement agencies for community partnerships

Education
- High school diploma or GED
Skills and Experience (Required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid and current driver's license
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
Skills and Experience (Preferred) - One year experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Must be able to work well under pressure while retaining tact and
composure when resolving guest complaints. - Fluency in Spanish and/or Creole preferred
