Job description
Position OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations at a high-volume distribution and fulfillment facility in Pendergrass, GA.
This role is responsible for supervising frontline leadership, driving safety and performance standards, and ensuring operational goals are met in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in executing site strategy, supporting continuous improvement, and delivering consistent service to customers.

Schedule: 1st Shift
Oversee daily operations across inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and inventory control
Lead and develop Supervisors and Team Leads to drive performance and engagement
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy metrics; implement corrective actions as needed
Support labor planning and staffing to align with daily volume and peak demands
Ensure adherence to customer service level agreements (SLAs)
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency initiatives
Partner with maintenance, safety, HR, and inventory teams to support site goals
Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready facility
Support startup, transition, or expansion activities as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred — or equivalent leadership experience
3+ years of leadership experience in distribution, fulfillment, or 3PL operations
Experience supervising frontline leaders in a high-volume environment
Familiarity with WMS, RF scanners, and productivity tracking systems
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
Startup or site launch experience
Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or retail distribution
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training
Work Environment
Large-scale distribution facility
Fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
Requires frequent floor presence and ability to navigate warehouse operations
