About the role:
The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading Design Assurance activities and support Lumenis Fiber Integration.
This Senior Quality Engineer will work with a cross-functional team to analyze historical product documentation and create Boston Scientific-compliant design history files for future submission and maintenance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviews, creates, and approves DHF documentation, including design inputs, design outputs, risk assessments, verification and validation protocols, and design change documentation.
Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class Quality Engineering practices.
Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
Applies sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
Analyzes customer complaints, events, and other post-marketing surveillance data to build Boston Scientific (BSC) compliant risk management documentation and monitoring methodology.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Biotechnology, or related field of study
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Design Assurance, or related medical device experience
ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and Quality System Regulations understanding with a focus on Design Controls ad Risk Analysis
Available for 10-15% international travel
Preferred qualifications:
Experience supporting integration and remediation projects
Experience with CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, MDD 93/42/EEC
Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with ambiguity
Proven ability to influence without authority
