    Job Description Our client is seeking talented and motivated Litigation Associates to join their legal team at multiple levels of experience.

    The ideal candidate will have a JD, admitted to the CA bar with 2+ years of litigation experience in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases including products liability and general negligence.

    As a Litigation Associate you will work closely with partners and senior associates providing support in various stages of the litigation process.

    You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, participating in discovery efforts, and assisting with trial preparation.

    The ideal candidate has a strong academic background, excellent analytical and writing skills, and a passion for litigation.


    Responsibilities:
    Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and case preparation.
    Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
    Assist with discovery efforts, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
    Review and analyze documents, evidence, and witness statements for potential case strengths and weaknesses.
    Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategies and tactics.
    Attend client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials to assist in case management and representation.
    Assist in preparing witnesses for depositions and trials, including conducting interviews and drafting witness statements.
    Manage and organize case files, documents, and exhibits in a timely and efficient manner.
    Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents that impact litigation practice areas.
    Collaborate with colleagues on multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.


    Qualifications:
    ~ Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    ~ Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
    ~2 or more years of experience in litigation, preferably with a law firm.
    ~ Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    ~ Excellent written and oral communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
    ~ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
    ~ Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
    ~ Experience with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
    ~ Familiarity with the rules of civil procedure and other relevant procedural rules.
    ~ Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    ~ Strong organizational and time management skills
