The move and $4 million renovation sets Intown Stars up to become the center of Atlanta's youth sports community. We have over 200 kids in our Team Program and there is ample room to grow with full time hours and management opportunities.
    Women's' Team Coach Responsibilities:
    • Execute and complete the Team Periodization Calendar for your respective team (will train).
    • To maintain all goal oriented curriculum ensuring that the main goals are consistent and block building throughout the levels..
    • To ensure timely skill assessments and strength/flexibility assessment.
    • To supervise coaches/instructors in a manner that puts the success of the assigned level and team at the forefront when needed.
    • To "manage up" by viewing leadership as partners and actively engaging with your direct report.
    • To maintain retention numbers and growth in skills and progressions over the season.
    • To communicate with parents, coworkers, and management with professionalism.
    • Grow programs with team and individual class growth and additions.
    • Assist with leading, organizing and executing team annual functions.
    • Meet with Team Director/Program Manager as requested.
    • Create and modify lesson plans when needed and/or requested
    • To support the Team Director/Program Manager as needed in all duties and responsibilities.

    Desired Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to oversee duties including but not limited to practices, training, attendance, setting up lesson plans using our 12 teaching principles, athlete management and skill assessment scheduling, and all other items relating to team.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong ability to communicate effectively with management, program participants, parents, coworkers, and community partners.
    • Positive attitude with staff, students, and parents
    • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
    • Must have the physical capacity to be on your feet throughout full 3-6 hour shifts and the strength required to provide spotting to students as needed per the level/skills you will coach.
    • First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
    • USAG Professional or instructor certified, or able to obtain within 90 days of hire.

    Minimum Experience and Qualifications: 1 years as an assistant, or support gymnastics coach.
