- Test all changes by using the appropriate moderately complex test scenarios to ensure all delivered solutions work as expected and errors are handling in a meaningful way.
- Author and maintain documentation by writing audience-appropriate materials to serve as technical and/or end-user references.
- Implement changes by adhering to the change management policies and procedures for any given project to communicate to all parties the nature, significance, and risk factors of the solution.
- Monitor changes and resolve moderately complex problems by responding as they occur, by reviewing all processing and output of the newly implemented solution, and by proactively ensuring the solution works successfully in order to satisfy the customer requirements and to provide a smooth transition to the new solution.

Description
We are seeking an EAM Senior Systems Administrator who will be a key member of the IT Team supporting mission critical business systems in Johns Hopkins Facilities and Real Estate (JHFRE). Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, the Senior Systems Administrator contributes significantly to maximizing JHFRE productivity and improving service delivery efficiency by supporting the enterprise asset management (EAM) software's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). IBM Maximo is currently implemented as CMMS to record and manage service requests and preventive maintenance operations for facilities and assets, becoming the basis for scheduling and coordinating equipment, material, parts, and skilled trade resource availability. The Administrator also works to identify and provide solutions and quality improvements to IT service delivery problems and works to progressively implement enhancements that better serve the needs of clients, maximize system capabilities, and strengthen integrations.

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience.
