Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning, controlling, organizing and directing the outside sales function of multiple stores within the region to ensure overall sales growth and profitability.
This position partners with the Store Managers and Regional Manager to recruit, hire, on-board, develop, and manage the performance of all Account Managers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Maintain and expand customer base by counseling Account Managers; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
Recommend, train, coach/mentor, evaluate and provide leadership to Account Managers in conjunction with the Regional Manager and Store Manager
Develop, forecast and track regional sales goals and objectives
Monitor weekly and monthly performance of Account Managers
Develop and recommend marketing strategies to Account Managers, SSC Sales and Marketing and Regional Management
Develop and coordinate regional marketing and product training events with Account Managers, Store Managers and supplier partners
Work with Account Managers, Store Managers, and SSC Pricing to develop competitive pricing models to maximize sales growth and profitability
Successful Candidates Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Five years of outside sales experience
Regional Sales Management experience
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) preferred
Heavy duty industry ( or similar ) experience
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Ability to travel minimum 50% (within the region)
Base Salary plus Bonus Incentive Plan is based on relevant experience:
